This Week in Music

What a great week for music!!! Field trips to Powell Symphony Hall and The Sheldon were awesome experiences for our 2nd and 5th graders! Students in all grades enjoyed singing Halloween songs and songs about "Responsibility," the character word of the month. Students also prepared songs for the upcoming Veterans' Day Assembly. Third graders worked on mastering "Hot Cross Buns" and "Merrily We Roll Along" to earn white and yellow "Recorder Karate" belts. Fifth Grade students played "When Johnny Comes Marching Home" and "Under the Sea" on their recorders to earn white and yellow belts.

Sunday Night Lights

Concord Flyer Choir performed "The Star-Spangled Banner" with the other District Elementary Choirs at Sunday Night Lights at Lindbergh High School's Flyer Field Sunday, October 16. The choir was accompanied by the LHS Spirit of St. Louis Marching Band. The Concord Choir members did an awesome job! They stayed and cheered on our guest football players and cheerleaders who are battling cancer. Rainbow for Kids appreciate this great service that Lindbergh Students created for our guests! We are so proud of the Concord Flyer Choir members and their families for making this a great event!
