What's New in Music Class

Students in all grades have enjoyed singing Thanksgiving songs and songs about "peace," the character word for November. They are also learning to read music and play xylophones and boom whackers. Third and fifth graders continue to learn to play new songs on their recorders. Third graders are working on “It’s Raining,” “Old MacDonald Had a Farm,” and “Jolly Old St. Nicholas.” Fifth graders are learning “My Country Tis of Thee,” “Mozart Sonata,” and “Jingle Bells.” Fifth graders have also begun learning holiday songs which they will be singing for the residents at Friendship Village and Delmar Gardens West on December 14.
